Water Worries Worsening In Southeast And Southwest US

When you receive the Seal you will see the sign of the end-times in global warming. You will see the current droughts in the southeastern United States and the predicted drying up of the water sources in the Southwest as symptoms of the disease.

In early February 2008, a drought considered "exceptional" has hit the Southeast in the US. There are "severe" droughts and even worse are "extreme" droughts. This one is worse than extreme at exceptional.

These conditions have dried up most of Alabama and northern Georgia and much of North Carolina too. Much of Nevada is in a severe drought, along with parts of Utah, and Wyoming. There is also a severe drought in parts of North Dakota and Montana.

Atlanta and Raleigh both depend on man-made lakes to provide them their water supplies. Alabama and Florida are waging water-wars with Georgia for water from Lake Lanier.

Now Georgia claims there was a surveying error in the 19th century which means its border with Tennessee is a mile north of what was previously thought, giving it access to the Tennessee river.

The Tennessee governor vows to fight any attempts by Georgia to get that water. In 2007 South Carolina sued North Carolina when some of its cities wanted to take 10 million gallons of water a day from the Catawba river. The case is pending in the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile in the West, population growth is putting demands on the water supply predicted to dry it up within a few short years. Lake Mead is the reservoir for the Colorado River that gives water to Phoenix and Las Vegas.

Due to climate change and insatiable demand for water, scientists foresee Lake Mead drying up so much it can not be used by the year 2021, just 13 years away. The scientists claimed to be "stunned" and did not expect such a big problem.

There has been heavy snowfall in Colorado this year. But that will not do much to change things. And the scientists call the implications of the forecast "scary."

Other scientists claim the Colorado River has been unusually "wet" in the last century and with climate change will soon revert back to its normal dryness. That has devastating consequences for Americans who are accustomed to luxuries like endless amounts of fresh water.

Greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide are blamed for heating up the world (as temperatures have risen the last 20 years steadily) like a greenhouse traps in the heat of the sun but does not let it escape.

These greenhouse gas emissions are ever-increasing in spite of attempts by many in industrialized nations to limit them. And scientists are not alone in their prediction of a warming world.

Jesus Christ taught His disciples about the end of the world, and His Teaching agrees with what the scientists are saying. Jesus taught the simple parable of the fig tree: when the fig tree starts to blossom, you know that summer is near.

That "summer" is how Jesus described the end-times. And that is how scientists see the end of the world approaching. All the seasons will become warmer like summer and there will be mass extinctions, finally including humans.

When you are sealed you will see the sign of gobal warming as the end-times. You will prepare yourself to meet God and live in your eternal home in Heaven (not having any home on earth anymore) when you receive the Seal.
